Can we rent the batteries?

Yes, PVI is a partner of NeoT-Capital, which offers the rental of batteries for PVI vehicles on the PVI market.

Lease contracts are full service contracts from 5 to 8 years.


Does rapid battery charging degrade battery life?

Yes, fast charging affects the life of Li-Ion batteries when it is done daily.

Occasional rapid charging has no impact on lifetime.


How are batteries recycled?

The batteries we use are recycled by specialized companies such as Veolia with a minimum recycling rate of 50%.


How do you recharge batteries?

The batteries are recharged at night using chargers on board our vehicles or at external charging points.

Recharging time varies from 2 to 10 hours depending on the size of the batteries and the power of the charging systems.


How long do Li-ion batteries last?

The batteries we use have a lifespan of about ten years with a maximum loss of 25% of capacity under normal conditions of use.



What is slow, semi-quick and fast charging?

A charge is considered slow when it takes more than 2 hours.

It is considered semi-rapid for 1 to 2 hours, and fast when it is done in less than one hour.
